The cuisine at Eden Sands is piloted by the housekeeper Ms. Barbara Phillips affectionately known as 'Miss B'. 

Her talent in the kitchen also extends to her skill and ability to teach interested guests the art of cooking Jamaican delicacies such as

  • Ackee and Saltfish
  • Johnnycakes
  • Festival
  • Curried Goat
  • Curried Chicken
  • Oxtail and Broad beans
  • Fricassee Chicken
  • Red Peas, Pumpkin, Callaloo and Fish Soup
  • Lobster Tails
  • Shrimp
  • Fish (Grilled, Escovitched, Fried)
  • Fritters (conch, saltfish, banana)
  • Plantain (sweet fried or salted)
  • Rice and Peas
  • Pumpkin Rice
  • Stewpeas with chicken or pigstail amongst many others!

Our outside charcoal grill facilitates

  • Grilled Red Snapper
  • Lobsters
  • shrimps on skewers
  • Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork.

Note: Lobsters are availbale
except between April 1 to June 30 when lobster season is closed.

Jamaican Desserts
Miss B's specialties include

  • Potato Pudding
  • Banana Bread
  • Fruit Platters (inclusive of mangoes, papayas, pineapples, banana, jackfruit, star apple, starfruit, otaheiti apple, oranges,  tangerines, grapefruit, sweetsop, soursop, naseberry, guava)
  • Stew Banana... amongst many others!!
